Hey there, I’m Alexis! I'm a low carb living, Cuban and Puerto Rican, living in Seattle, Washington with my husband and pup. I'm a teacher turned brand + web designer for fellow #teacherpreneurs now but have had over my 5+ years of teaching experience. I've taught Kindergarten, ELL, Third Grade, Fourth Grade, and ELL in Middle School. Every year was truly a new adventure and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I absolutely loved teaching writing, math, and always strived with classroom management. It was my favorite thing to master! I also have a strong connection with building a classroom foundation with my students so they can feel at home within my classroom. I even let them bring a potted plant and pictured frame of their family to prove it. :]

As of right now, none that I know of. But I did win a few artist of the year certificates while in high school as well as being honored to having my art hung permanently in the hallways!

I have my bachelor degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also am ELL endorsed through the state of Washington. I have recently completed my masters program and hold a MD with Classroom Leadership with an emphasis on English Language Learners.

I absolutely love being creative in all aspects of life. You’ll always find me learning, creating, crafting, and DIYing just about everything. I’m also a self proclaimed pure perfectionist, which is probably why I choose to do it on my own 150% of the time.
